Pioneers Reference Material
The reference material consists of documents, photos and video. Most of the material is from Michael Aldrich’s personal papers and from ROCC company archives. Sadly much material has disappeared –lost or destroyed. No actual hardware or software has survived other than the teleputer which has been donated to the Centre of Computing History in Cambridge.
The documents include press cuttings, articles written for specialist computer newspapers and magazines and conference papers. Everything is original and untouched.
The photos are again mainly from old files at ROCC found in the Press Office. The video is from various sources all acknowledged.
The Mrs Snowball story has been told by the media several times including as part of two BBC series, “Robert Peston Goes Shopping” and the “The Secret Genius of Modern Life”.
