We are excited to announce that the Michael Aldrich Foundation is is working with artist and University of Brighton alumna Alison Lapper and Victoria Holden, an independent producer from Chalk Productions, on a project called The Drug of Art which aims to improve mental health in young people through making art.

Building on our community art activities and our successful lockdown project, the Image of the Week, the Michael Aldrich Foundation will be running in-person workshops and an education programme designed to build confidence, curiosity, creativity, emotional wellbeing and resilience in children and adults and help them to express how they feel through a love of art and making.

Please support and share our campaign. We have some fantastic rewards including a limited number of exclusive T-shirts designed by photographer Rankin, and artists Marc Quinn, Gary Mansfield and Alison.
